Vary from the classic vanilla beans too much more exotic ones such as the best-selling cempedak flavour, durian – King of all fruits – and teh tarik flavour. The locality of the flavour really bursts through to your tongue with cempedak bits hinting every scoop you are taking, and richness of the teh tarik is strong to strike on your palette.

Ilao Ilao has been extremely well received overseas, especially in Europe and Singapore. Luckily, we do not have to travel all the way there for natural frozen yoghurt as Ilao Ilao was brought into Malaysia lately. They proffer amazingly good yoghurt with a series of toppings, fresh fruits and homemade sauce. Fruits are cut daily and fresh berries (not frozen) are imported. Yoghurt is made from skimmed milk and has a low-fat content, which makes it melt a little quicker, but the flavours are absolutely to die for!

As for the teh tarik flavour, it is slightly sweeter than usual, but would be a perfect scoop for any sweet tooth.

Whimsical Gelateria and Cafe is another birth child by Cielo Dolci. It features a wide scope of western dishes such as kinds of pasta and sandwiches, along with some delicious and photo-worthy ice cream. They are also the first who made the Nasi Lemak Gelato, which sounds extremely weird but is addictive at the same time. A newcomer on the menu, Blueberry Muffin gelato is quickly nabbing accolades too.

Be sure of wrapping up your meal with their Shamaziin ice cream sandwich, made an artisanal ice cream maker. Either charcoal buns or regular toasted buns are halved and filled with scoops of ice creams, not your average chocolate or vanilla, be awed with Horlicks & Maltesers and Peanut Butter Milo.
